And we're back

We got back last night and it was great to see the pups again. Big Carl has been doing well but Baily has decided to become a brat. She wants nothing to do with him. No growling or anything like that, but if BC tries to lay near her she will get up and leave. Its so cute to see him cuddle up close but then she looks at us like "Help me, get this rat away" and just ups and moves. We are working on this but any suggestions on how to get around this obstacle would be great!

welcome back!

i'm afraid they are just going to have to work things out themselves...sounds like they are working out their new pack order.

Welcome back every buddy!

Baily, it sounds like you are trying to show Big Carl who the boss is. We hope you two can become good pals soon.

Mom put the toof brush in the mail Saturday so hopefully you will get it soon. We hope it is not too small for your girls. If it is, maybe BC can get some use out of it. Mom bought me and Banjo little hooman toof brushes when she went shopping yesterday. They work much better for us.

I thought of you when we were in WeHo this weekend! But I was sans-a-pup, and our primary purpose for being down there was to see my 97-year old grandfather.

But next time we're heading that way, I'll definitely give you a holler. Cabana loves to play with ANY and ALL dogs, and we already know Bailey (I think it was Bailey) will be fond of Cabana's yellow labbiness!

My sister lives in Park La Brea-- so convenient to Pan Pacific Park and The Grove! Let's get s'mores from The Farm when we get together--yum!

I bet all your fur babies are so glad to have you guys home.:) I am the same way with my sister, Sierra. If she even tries to get close, I just get up and move.

As long as one is not bullying the other, I stay out of pack dynamics and let them sort them out. Usually, if I try to interfere, it only exacerbates the problem - my experience.

Sorry, no suggestions, but lots of sympathy. Of course I never snuggle with PeeWee. I used to sneak into bed with my Raja after she fell asleep, but if she woke up and found me there she would either walk away or snap at me. Sob.

Maybe Baily is rying to figure out the new pack ranking. Sometimes that takes time.

Try giving the dogs all some personal time - a training session with one, a cuddle session with another, a walk with the third. Otherwise, I think, like others said, you have to just let them work it out themselves.

Oh Baily! Her and BC will get to being friends, they were doing pretty good before. I think she's just trying to prove that you love her most. ;)

P.S. We are glad you guys are back! YAY! Though I do miss all the puppy snuggles...:)

Glad your back and I bet the pups were so excited to see all again. The photos the petsitter took are fabulous.
