My Last Week

So this is my last week here before the travel starts! Im excited and nervous and a bunch of different things :) I have been spending a lot of time with friends. A lot of lunches out which is made a lot easier by my handicapped parking sticker, though when my friends get in my Jeep they always ask why the windows are locked. You see, Mesa likes to have the window rolled all the way down, if I don't lock the windows, she stands on the buttons and rolls them down. Well she stands on the buttons if I do have it locked as well but they just stay up. The pups are pretty bummed and have been mopey. They can feel the change in the air:

Baily decided she needed 3 Nylabones and a Kong before she could rest

Mesa is guarding the two bags of food behind her

Big Carl is hiding out so Mesa will stop picking on him

I am also spending a lot of time working on getting my blog stuff organized so that I can keep up while on the road. Don't forget to follow us (the link is at the top) if you stop by often since that is how we keep track of a lot of our bloggy friends!

You'd better keep up with your blog (no pressure, of course). The kids will miss you and so will we! Of course, you could probably take BC with you...

Wishing you the best of luck on this new adventure! The pups will sorely miss you during the week but imagine the incredible welcome each weekend when you return! Always remember the "I was thinking of you all week" treats for the kids when you come home. We will miss your daily antics but understand that it will take time to develop a new rhythm.

Mesa is one smart cookie. I like to have the windows rolled down too. I hope you have safe travels. Your furr babies are so keen about what's going on. I wonder if Big Carl will try to sneak into your suitcase?:)

Love,
Teddy Bear

Sounds like your moma is going to be on the road a lot. That's gonna mean a new rhythm and a new routine. We know it will mean a lot of big hugs and wig wagging tails at the end of a week. And maybe, just maybe, it'll mean some "look what I brought you" treats. (You might want to sneak some from you into your moma's suitcase, 'cause we know she's gonna miss you as much as you'll miss her.)

We'll be thinking of you!
Love
Jake and Fergi (yes ... we wear jammies ... especially after Moma takes away all our furs and keeps the house at 58° at night!)

I'm so behind on commenting, but just wanted to wish you luck with the new job and the new city! It sounds like what you will be doing is very similar to what my aunt does-she goes to hospitals for months at a time and trains them to use electronic medical records. I hope the dogs adjust to your absence quickly. It will be a happy reunion every Thursday night!
