I love living in WeHo
This is the most pit bull friendly place I have ever lived! Every night on our walks we get stopped by people who want to pet the dogs. Tonight alone we got stopped by 5 different groups who wanted to meet the dogs. These groups ranged from 50-something suits enjoying happy hour to bar bouncers to young couples on vacation. Obvious the girls love any chance they get to make new friends and I love being able to show people what a true pit bull is.

It is great to hear that you are not encountering discrimination. It must be nice!

Kudos to you for getting your dogs out there and changing people's minds. Without people like you, these dogs would be doomed. Good girls, Baily and Mesa!
How could they not just love those two cuties!!!
Glad you are living in a Pittie loving community!!
Smileys!

oh that's great.
When I had my Indie, it wasn't odd for people to cross the street and walk on the other sidewalk. Luckily, Indie never noticed.
And thanks for your comments on my blog - It's not a very exciting story I tell, just a place for me to dump my sadness & thoughts, (as I mention, it's my therapy) so I appreciate your words, very much.
thank you.
In our new neighborhood we get a similar thing. There are a lot of outdoor bars and restaurants and so many people stop and point and ask about the pooches. It's nice to be able to educate people about the true nature of pitbulls. Unfortunately I found this wasn't the case in all Chicago neighborhoods. The area where I used to live had a lot of fluffy store bought dogs; people would actually pick up their dogs and run across the street when they saw us coming.
That's so nice to hear :)
