A trip to the dog beach

Since its been in the 80s here in LA we decided to take a trip to the ocean (which means it was only 70) so the pups could visit the beach. Mesa is a swimming fiend. Baily isn't too sure about it and BC has never been so we decided to go on a Friday since it would be less crowded.

We had tons of fun. Here are a few shots:

Mesa makes sure to get the water out of her ears
BC soaked up some sun
So did Baily
Mesa just wanted to play fetch
But she did take time to strike a pose
Big Carl practiced his creepster look
Mesa also took time to catch a wave
In all the entire family had fun

    Gosh, there sure is a whole lotta happiness in those pictures. I've never been to that ocean place but I prolly wouldn't like it much. I thinks I would like the sand between my toes, though. I'm very much glad you all had such a fun time!

    Wow!!! BEACH day! Sure looks like a lot of fun. We have been wanting to go but Mommy says the closest beach from our home is about 2 hours drive and would entail a piappies mobile. That is why Mommy brings the beach to our home and gives us shower baths. Hmmm... no sand, no waves just water... Oh well... that's why we looooove beach trips we get to join through bloggie world.

    What a great place! Where in LA can you go with the dogs that the guards don't hassle you? Poor White Dog gets chased off the beach everytime we are in LA. Also, thank you for the practical advice about White Dog and Quinn and the dog door. It made us feel better about the approach (slow) that my parents are taking. Your thinking parallels mom's...everyone should be allowed everywhere.

    OOOooooo... Which beach did you all go to where they let you off leash?!? When we go to Pismo or Morro Bay, we have to stay on leashes! Grammy DOES take really LONG leashes, but still...

    Bet you had a LOT more fun than we have since you could run free!
