Mesa wants a bath, Baily keeps her attitude and BCs ears are too big for the camera
So the house we live in is old. Its actually an old boarding/writing building that was converted into 4 appts. While that means there is a ton of charm, it also means there are some interesting things like old door jams that don't let doors fully latch. Like a lot of dogs I know, Mesa enjoys trying to join people in the bathroom. When we close the door, she waits a moment and uses her head as a battering ram to see if the door is not fully latched. If shes lucky, the door swings open. As her luck would have it, it opened for her when the DH was in there earlier this week. Rather than sitting near the him, per her norm, she decided to climbed the step and hop into the bathtub (our bathtub is really deep) and sat there waiting for something to happen. I think she thought she was dirty or something...

I'm impressed that you have a dog that actually LIKES baths! My dog SCREAMS like we're trying to kill her... Death by Washcloth. Horrible.

ReplyDeleteMesa is the one who acts as the bubble bath thief. she doesn't get in, but she likes to steal bath bubbles. She will get close when the shower is running but hasn't done more than stick her head in until she felt the water

Whoa! Is Mesa sick? Did you takes her temperature? Cuz that's the only reason I can thinks of that a dog would WANTS a bath. Very curious indeed.

ReplyDeleteWell to continue with your bath theme, I came over today to walk them all only to open the door and see they were all naked from having a bath. Then of course Joe and I were mauled by naked puppies and we had to fight them to put their collars back on :) It was pretty cute!

ReplyDeleteWhat is it about the bathtub!?! Whenever any of us goes into the bathroom, we always head on over, hop up and check out the bathtub to see what's in there. Grammy gets quite a kick out of it, and wonders what we see!
