Way back in March when we went to the rescue fundraiser one of the gifts we received was three containers of cat grass seed. Seeing how I always wanted a balcony garden I figured I could do something for the pup as well. Into a pot it went and it took off.
Mesa is a cow. She lives for eating grass. In honor of her third gotcha day (which is tomorrow) we decided to let her go to town on it.
Here she is in all her grass eating glory :)

Hmmm...could this be an American Bulldog thing? We call Miss M our bovine, and she isn't allowed to go to the park because all she does is graze. Happy Gotcha Day Mesa!

YAY! Happy Gotcha Day to my (secret) fave lil Cow-Moose-Goose-Puppy! Love her! We had to take that away from her when we dog-sat, she couldn't make herself stop!

ReplyDeleteMelanie and Nemo can be cows too, sometimes they just won't stay away from the grass! Mesa has a nice white with black spots thing going too ... very cow-like ... ;)
ReplyDeleteBrutus can be quite the ruminant as well. Never throws up after eating grass like my old JR terrier did (who only ate it when his tummy was upset) - Brutus just likes grass! Maybe we need some of that "cat" grass too (although they should do some marketing as "dog" grass as well I think!)

ReplyDeleteMy Indiana was a grazer. Anytime we were in a friend's backyard she'd spend half the time lazily grazing and eating the grass. Then she'd hack it up. There was just no stopping her. If I yelled, she'd run from me, and start somewhere else. Now Scarlett does the same things, only with leaves. Leave-eater.
