But all is well. She was just acting all blah like the past few days and then she started vomiting. So in we went. xRays showed nothing and blood work was excellent so for now we are just watching her food and keeping her hydrated. Here is Mesa trying to relax but we are being evil dog parents. (the snoring is Mesa)
a little different from this dog, no?

Poor girl! Glad she is doing OK though.
ReplyDeleteIt's scary when they get sick especially because they cannot tell us what hurts.

The poor sweetie. It's a relief to know it's nothing serious. Mesa's ear "design" is so interesting with the black stripes on both sides.
ReplyDeleteThat sounds scary! Hope you feel better!
ReplyDeleteGet better soon Mesa!
ReplyDeleteSmileys for healing!
Dory
Hmmm... Has anyone seen Big Carl lately?
ReplyDeleteSeriously, I hope Mesa is feeling better soon. I hate it when my dogs don't feel well! It's like RescuedPittieMommy said: They can't tell us what's wrong, and that's scary.
Give her kisses for me.
Poor puppy!
ReplyDeleteOh no! We hope you are feeling better today Mesa.
ReplyDeleteWaggles,
Bijou
Poor babe. Hope she just had a tummy bug and she'll be right back to her normal self. I love snoring pups it's just too cute :)
ReplyDeletePoor baby, I hope she is well soon!
ReplyDeleteFeel better, Mesa. Maybe she has a virus running thru her or something?
ReplyDeleteHow skhary but we are glad to see she's feeling better...

Hugz&Khysses,
Khyra

The Sheps with Pep
Ps. I (OBST) hope our ape brings home a friend for me from the SPCA! And especially a pit boo! One that wrestles, please!
PPS. I (Ethel) would only like a friend who would keep OBST busy so he stops biting my legs.
I'm so glad Mesa is ok. A traumatic experience like a visit to the vet deserves a nap...filled with lots of snoring.
ReplyDeleteLove,
Teddy Bear
Dear Mesa,
ReplyDeleteSometimes my mom pokes me in the middle of the night just to reassure herself that I am still breathing. Crazy, huh? You have my sympathies!
Woof,
Keeley
I hope everything is ok with Mesa!
ReplyDeleteThose visits to the ER Vet are scary!
Take care
Kisses and hugs
Lorenza
Polar opposite! :) And completely sweet! ♥
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear it was nothing...
glad to hear the tests were all negative! That was scary.
ReplyDeletelove & wags,
River
I agree with you that it is always better to get things checked out because by the time us brave doggies start to act sick sometimes there is something very wrong. Hopefully just a little tummy bug that will go away soon.
ReplyDeleteRegarding the sleepy movie. Sheesh! Those humans! But thank you so much for clarifying the source of the snoring.
Slobbers,
Mango
Oh glad everything is ok.
ReplyDeleteSending many good thoughts for a speedy recovery from the secret-hidden-bad-thing inside.
ReplyDeleteAwww, poor Mesa, she is just sleepy. We hope she is feeling better. She has such beautiful markings on her ear. Feel better, Mesa.
ReplyDeleteWoos, Phantom, Thunder, and Ciara
aww.. poor baby.. maybe she ate something she shouldn't have. dogs are good at finding things that fit in their mouths, even if we humans think we've got everything safely out of the way..
ReplyDeleteget well soon mesa! and don't scare your parents!! :)
We hope Mesa is feeling better by the time we paw this out. Doggies often don't really let on when we're not feeling so good, so we're glad Mesa got the evaluation and advice of her doctor.
ReplyDeleteFollow all the doctor's orders.
Please
Love
Jake and Fergi xxoo
Feel better soon, Mesa! I hope your tummy get back to normal so that you can enjoy all the foods you love.
ReplyDeletePoor Mesa! Here's hoping that she's doing much better and up to her old self by now! OC & the CCC
