I get by with a little help from my friends

So we have a dear friend who lives near us and watches our dogs while we are out. You may have noticed her commenting on the blog :) Well today she came over to get the dogs some exercise and Mesa being the sweet dog she is decided to roll in the mud which meant the girls needed a bath. Normally I point to the tub and say "In" and the dogs hop right in with mopey faces. Today they decided to take advantage of our friend and cover her in mud as well in an effort to get them into the tub. Now the kids are all nice and clean and can nap for the rest of the day which we greatly appreciate.

I am going to need to have a discussion with Mesa when I get home about her behavior today though!

  2. How dare the human give a bath after rolling in mud. Now no more dirty stinky smells.

  3. Well, they were probably just wanting their sweet helper to have a chance to enjoy the thrill of mud:)

  4. I'm shocked the girls willingly hop in the bath. "Bath" is the one word the pooches do know, and they always run the other way when they hear it. And based on this, they're starting to sound more and more like my high school kids; always taking advantage of the subs.

  10. Park and mud time was fun and funny to watch. And it was actually a pretty fun bath time too. The biggest struggle was getting them in. After that they were angels, until dry off time came and I got all the water they shook off. Then they wrestled and took a nap. I think it was a pretty great doggy day for them. And fun for me too!

  11. It sounds like your friend is a dog lover, and in this case that is a very good thing.

I love when we have company and they aren't dog people. They leave quickly. ;)

  13. Your dogs jump into the tubs when asked? That is impressive! Mine, one of them especially, act like we're chopping their paws off rather than getting them CLEAN. :)
