Watching TV Mesa Style

This is what Mesa looked like after a long day of watching TV:

Her reactions to Animal Planet today made us remember one of our favorite Mesa stories. When we first got the big TV, I was watching Animal Cops and there were a bunch of kittens on the TV. Mesa was captivated and when a cat walked off the screen Mesa went to the side of the TV, expecting the cat to come out and play with her. She looked around for a couple minutes before she gave up and went back to watching the show :) That's our special girl.

  5. Funny that she'd do that! Hootie watches TV too, but I don't pay any attention to it accept for when a doorbell rings...then I bark!

  7. She looks pretty comfy to us. Mom says that we always go to the back of the TV when we hear a pup barking or a kitty meowing. We just can't figure out why we can't find them.

  10. My sister Sierra does that too. Every time she hears any animal on the TB, she thinks that it's in our house.:)

  12. Mesa, it's nice to meet you! Thanks for stopping by our blog. We've been gone for nearly a month, and we're just beginning to get back in the roll of things. That might even mean the television will be turned on again someday, and we'll watch animals walk across that screen and hide behind the box, too! It's puzzling, but we (especially I, Jake) like it.

    Love ya

  14. Hey! We stopped by to say "Happy New Year!" and "thanks for dropping by our blog a few days ago. It's nice to know that when the people take time away and leave us, the four-leggeds in a position where blogging is challenging, at best, nice pups like you still keep us in mind. (We've been complaining to the peeps. Can you tell?)

Anyhow... nice to meet you... please come back and we look forward to getting to know you in 2010!

  15. Hi

We wanted to come by and say hi since you have been visiting us. Mesa looks like sweetie. There was a dog barking on the tv the other night and we went running to the window to see it.

  17. Yes, watching TV can be so exhausting. Though I wonder if the cat thing is a sign of intelligence: I heard when people saw the first movie they couldn't understand how they fit all the actors, horses, etc on a single "play stage".
